Ackermann PR, DMG Bluegill form strategic alliance

Ackermann PR and DMG|Bluegill have formed a strategic partnership to help growth-oriented companies “go to market” with a customized approach that boosts their sales and revenues by integrating traditional marketing communications and sophisticated digital strategies.

Ackermann PR is East Tennessee’s oldest and largest full-service marketing communications and consulting firm, using research and front-end strategy to connect clients to viable business opportunities and sustained customer growth through public relations, stakeholder and media relations, thought leadership and branding programs, and targeted outreach.

DMG|Bluegill specializes in overall digital strategy development, including website design and production, mobile applications, SEO/SEM, lead generation, digital audits, and programming.

“By combining our capabilities, our two firms will be able to offer a complete suite of high-level, business-focused services and to create marketing outreach programs that are completely integrated,” said Ackermann PR CEO Cathy Ackermann.  “We have developed a total package for targeted customer acquisition and lead generation within the context of overall brand building that is new to this region and that we believe is very exciting for companies in the East Tennessee region and beyond.”

Parker Frost, CEO of DMG|Bluegill, added “The dynamic combination of the area’s long-time leader in public relations and marketing with the most sophisticated digital services company will provide a level of expertise that businesses have had to look elsewhere to find in the past.  Obviously, there are many companies which design websites and do tactical digital execution.  However, we have figured out how to create and execute digital strategies that are focused specifically on helping companies actually grow their market share and increase their marketing ROI.”

Ackermann PR has served clients throughout the U.S. out of its Knoxville headquarters for more than 30 years.  DMGx has been in business for 20 years and acquired Bluegill Creative, a 7-year-old business last year, forming DMG|Bluegill.  Together, the firms have over 57 years of collective experience.  Clients of the two firms span the manufacturing, healthcare, technology, tourism/hospitality, financial, and real estate/construction sectors, among others.
