Maryville, Tenn. – A team of East Tennessee Medical Group (ETMG) employees worked together to put up the first wall of the new Blount County Habitat for Humanity house for the Roach family of Maryville, Tenn. Nearly 50 ETMG employees, including three physicians, volunteered time to construct the new home in Norwood Village, Maryville, on Sat., June 6. ETMG employees cancelled their 2008 annual holiday party and 2009 summer picnic to help pay for building expenses, as part of ETMG’s 15th Anniversary celebration and “Community Centered” effort of giving back to Blount County.
