Smoky Mountain Harley-Davidson to give away $3,250 to area high schools this Saturday in annual “Bike Build-Off” competition

Maryville, Tenn. – May 13, 2015 – Smoky Mountain Harley-Davidson (SMH-D), the number one Harley-Davidson dealer in the Knoxville and Sevierville areas, will be giving away $3,250 to area high schools this Saturday, May 16, as its annual “Bike Build-Off” comes to a close.

For more than six months, students from Heritage High School, William Blount High School, and Sevier County High School have been building modified sportster motorcycles to display at the 3rd Annual Black Dragon Breakdown at Smoky Mountain Harley-Davidson. This Saturday, students will set up their bikes and compete for votes to win a donation for their school from SMH-D. The first prize school will take home a $1,500 donation, second will receive $1,000, and third will get $750. All teams will receive custom welded trophies for their efforts.

The “Bike Build-Off” competition will be a part of SMH-D’s 3rd Annual Black Dragon Breakdown event this Saturday, which includes a custom and vintage car and bike show as well as on-site vendors. The evening will conclude with a concert featuring Shooter Jennings with Waymore’s Outlaws and special guests, The Dirty Soul Revival.
