The Wall Street Journal names The Swag a top 10 getaway

The Swag, the highest mountaintop resort in the Eastern United States located in Waynesville, North Carolina, was recently recognized by The Wall Street Journal as one of the “Coziest Hotels in America.”

The Swag was described as one of the “10 best getaways for becoming reacquainted with the endangered art of slowing down.” Others on the list included The Greenwich Hotel in New York, Triple Creek Ranch in Darby, Mont., and Post Ranch Inn in Big Sur, Calif.

In addition to this latest nod from The Wall Street Journal, The Swag has also been recognized as an elite accommodation by Condé Nast Traveler, Departures, the Andrew Harper Hideaway Report Top 20, and National Geographic Traveler.
