University Radiology Ranked a Top-100 Practice in 2016

Knoxville, TN academic-focused practice achieves #86 standing in most recent results

logoKnoxville, Tenn.University Radiology, P.C. has again earned distinction as one of the nation’s top radiology practices, jumping 14 spots from last year’s ranking of 100 to 86 in this year’s survey.

The survey, sponsored by the American College of Radiology, highlights the top-100 practices in the U.S. and considers a series of figures, such as number of full-time employees, number of procedures performed and number of hospital contracts to calculate the top practices.

“We are extremely proud of this achievement and being recognized as one of the nation’s top practices,” said Michael Langenberg, the group’s Executive Director. “Our relationship with The University of Tennessee Medical Center has allowed us to develop a depth of Sub-Specialists that the market demands. In addition, our specialty in consultative radiology is all about relationships and being stewards for our community. We are fortunate to have a team that is second to none when it comes to consultative practice. As patients have an increasing role to play in their health, we want to be the radiology experts that help them make informed choices related to imaging.”

Earlier this year, University Radiology began offering services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year through partnerships with Laughlin Memorial Hospital and Trek Radiology for patients in Greenville, Tennessee. For more information, visit www.utrad.com.
