Knoxville, Tenn. – Ackermann Marketing & PR has been named to the inaugural America’s Best PR Agencies 2021 list by Forbes magazine. The Knoxville-based agency has been serving businesses and organizations from around the world for the past 38 years, providing innovative, strategic marketing and public relations services to its clients.
Like many other businesses, Ackermann Marketing & PR has adjusted its business model to adapt to the constantly evolving business world amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
“As we have settled into the reality that the COVID-19 pandemic is a longer-term situation than we originally envisioned, we added some services that made it easier to support our clients,” said Cathy Ackermann, president and CEO of Ackermann Marketing & PR. “We have hosted a series of webinars, advised our clients on best businesses practices during a pandemic and updated our website weekly with resources that anyone in our community can access.”
The Forbes ranking was determined from a survey of more than 12,700 experts and 20,500 customers between June and July 2020. Respondents were asked to nominate PR agencies with which they had experience working; self-nominations and recommendations within PR agency networks were not considered. Some 5,000 nominations were collected. Participants were asked to indicate how likely they were to nominate a particular agency on a scale from zero (very unlikely) to ten (very likely). Statista identified those firms with the highest number of recommendations and organized them into star ratings: five stars for the first half of awarded companies and four stars for the second half.
