KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – July 28, 2021 – For 107 years Johnson & Galyon has put an emphasis on experience. That commitment to maintaining a staff with deep industry knowledge continued in the first half of 2021 with a number of promotions in its senior staff as well as strong new hires. They bring their know-how to Johnson & Galyon’s current slate of major East Tennessee construction projects, among them the Carson Newman University Nursing Facility, several healthcare facilities, and numerous projects with East Tennessee Children’s Hospital and Blackberry Mountain Resort.

Craig Daniel has been promoted to Executive Vice President of Pre-Construction. Chad Brewster was named Director of Healthcare Construction. Wes Crow joined Johnson & Galyon in early 2020, but brings 30 years’ experience with Hardaway, Merit, and TDH. That extensive industry knowledge has led to his promotion to Director of Commercial Construction.
Allison Johnson has been promoted to Controller. Allison came to Johnson & Galyon from Pugh & Co where she spent 20 years as a Senior Manager.
Jeremy Shipp has been promoted to Preconstruction Manager – Johnson & Galyon Homes. Jeremy has been an Assistant Project Manager for Johnson & Galyon for 7 years. Before coming to Johnson & Galyon, he worked as an Architect for 9 years.
Johnson & Galyon also announces two newly hired employees. Peter Dunn, the new Director of Pre-Construction Services, has spent 20 years as a senior estimator and comes to the company from Blaine Construction. Vince Marshall, owner of Marshall Design & Construction Corporation, brings more than 20 years of experience to his new role as Senior Project Manager.
