FITZGERALD NAMED SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
VETERAN COMMUNICATOR JOINS EAST TENNESSEE’S PREMIER AGENCY
Knoxville, Tenn. – Ackermann Marketing & PR today announced that Brian Fitzgerald has been hired as a Senior Account Executive. In his new role, Fitzgerald will provide Ackermann’s portfolio of clients with strategic counsel and tactical support, including media relations, social media, strategic positioning, community affairs and more. Fitzgerald will also utilize his vast experience within the public health, healthcare, insurance and technology sectors to expand the firm’s growth in these areas.

Fitzgerald brings 20 years of experience to Ackermann, specializing in public relations, public affairs, strategic marketing and perception management. He has managed and collaborated on high-profile projects for individuals and organizations including Sierra Health Foundation, Flo.Health, The California Department of Health Services, Eli Lilly & Company, Genentech, FriendlyData, PandaDoc, Xenco Medical, YMedia Labs, Sony Computer Entertainment, IGT, Apple, California First Lady Maria Shriver, California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, Azusa Pacific University and more. He has also represented clients such as MTV Games, The McClatchy Company, University of Phoenix, Golden State Warriors, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Target, Kamehameha Schools, C.C. Myers and The Buzz Oates Group of Companies.

Fitzgerald is a graduate of University of the Pacific and is the author of The Adventures of Zooming Zip. He and his wife Trisha fell in love with Knoxville during a visit to the city two years ago, and are excited to now call East Tennessee home.
